Great Service is a Limbocker Family Tradition
In 1971, with the opening of the food and beverage operations at the Ramada Inn (now the Holiday Inn at the Campus) Bob and Larry Limbocker followed in their father's 35-year history's footsteps in creating one of the most unique family restaurants in fine dining in Manhattan. Thus became the name of Bockers II, derived from the last part of their name. The operations included in-house and off-premisis catering, fine dining, and family restaurants. Also in 1985, Bockers II opened the Cotton Club at the Wareham Hotel (now known as Harry's). In 1991, Bob and Larry Limbocker dedicated their ambitions to off-premisis catering, opening a 2,000 square foot kitchen, which has since grown to 3,500 square feet, with our offices currently at 1106-08 Laramie Street in Aggieville.
Over the years, some of Bockers II's greatest accomplishments were the Opening Gala of Manhattan Towncenter for 2,000 black tie guests and the Gala Opening for Bramlage Coliseum for 1,500 guests. Upon retirement of Larry Limbocker in 2004, Aly Limbocker joined Bob in continuing the family tradition of Bockers II Catering Services. Together they continue to evolve with new ideas and services.
