Great Service is a Limbocker Family Tradition
In 1971, with the opening of the food and beverage operations at the Ramada Inn (now the Holiday Inn at the Campus) Bob and Larry Limbocker followed in their father's 35-year history's footsteps in creating one of the most unique family restaurants in fine dining in Manhattan. Thus became the name of Bockers II, derived from the last part of their name. The operations included in-house and off-premises catering, fine dining, and family restaurants. Also in 1985, Bockers II Catering & Events opened the Cotton Club at the Wareham Hotel.
In 1991, Bob and Larry Limbocker dedicated their ambitions to off-premises catering, opening a 2,000 square foot kitchen, which has grown with Aly joining in 2008 to 4700 square feet and the addition of an event space currently located at 221. N. 4th St.
Over the years, some of Bockers II Catering & Events' greatest accomplishments were the Opening Gala of Manhattan Towncenter for 2,000 black tie guests and the Gala Opening for Bramlage Coliseum for 1,500 guests. Upon retirement of Larry Limbocker in 2004, Aly Limbocker joined Bob in continuing the family tradition of Bockers II Catering Services.
